The Better Business Bureau awards its Torch Award to a select few companies who they feel are deserving of receiving it. Aloha Construction is one of the companies deemed deserving enough to receive the prestigious award and they are honored. The Torch Award was established in 1996 and honors only those companies that show they are capable of upholding leadership, social responsibility, best practices, and generally have high standards.

Aloha Construction received the award in 2017 in recognition of tSimply Caresheir Marketplace Ethics. They make regular contributions to the community and are always giving back. They have a charitable branch known as the David Farbacky Foundation and they’ve reached out to many organizations including Omni Youth Services. They donate $5 for every assist scored by the Illinois State University and they sponsor the Central Illinois hockey team. They also support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington and sponsor the Roselle Medinah softball and baseball organizations.

Aloha Construction helped out a single mother and her daughters and gave them the shopping spree of their lives-$7,000 of toys to buy and take home. They also made it possible for a 12-year old boy with congenital heart failure and some of his closest friends to get to see the Chicago Bulls play the Houston Rockets which is something they could only dream of. The company has such a love for their community and it shows not only in their hard work but in the many ways that they give back. They truly care about their community.
