Most Michael Jackson fans never would’ve thought that Michael would have passed in the year 2009. Michael was always known to be a healthy person, and he danced and performed all the way up into his 50s. Michael had even planned a tour around the world before he died, and unfortunately, he would never see that tour come to pass. Michael died unexpectedly, and many fans were thrown into a very deep depression over his death. Many Michael Jackson impersonators around the world were asked about their feelings on the King of Pop’s death, and many responded with tears, sorrowful remarks, and some couldn’t muster the strength to respond at all.
Sergio Cortes has been a Michael Jackson impersonator for years, but it’s never meant as much to him as it does now. Everyone knows that impersonators are supposed to act as if they are the star that they are imitating, but when Michael Jackson died, many people looked to his impersonators for some comfort. Although Sergio wasn’t looking to be Michael Jackson himself, those who were heartbroken about Michael’s passing chose to seek out Sergio as a way to get over Michael Jackson’s death.
Sergio didn’t want the position of being the savior of those who were grieving over Michael Jackson, but he didn’t have a choice because many looked to him for a way to bring a smile to their faces after Michael’s passing. Sergio has put on many concerts over the years, and Sergio has even remade songs, dance moves, and stage shows that Michael Jackson created. When Sergio hits the stage, it’s unlike anything anyone has ever seen unless the person has been to a genuine Michael Jackson concert. Many young people may not have seen Michael Jackson in concert when he was with the Jackson Five or when he got older, so watching Sergio Cortes perform is a real treat.
Sergio doesn’t just dance, dress, and behave like Michael Jackson, he looks and even sings like Michael Jackson too. No other Michael Jackson impersonator has been able to completely embody Michael’s spirit as Sergio Cortes has, which is the reason why he’s the most famous Michael Jackson impersonator. Sergio has been on many television shows performing, and Sergio even informs the media about his past and upcoming stage shows. Sergio has been a real blessing to those who miss Michael Jackson.
Creatively speaking not many people can even come close to impersonating Michael Jackson. Just looking like a late star is not nearly enough to make fans remember all the great performances they witnessed. When it comes to Michael Jackson that would be really hard to do, but it seems like Sergio Cortes has done it.
Sergio Cortes born in Barcelona Spain and living in Brazil is the one and only greatest Michael Jackson impersonator ever seen or heard of before. Extremely talented and energetic, his video performances prove how he has captured the full essence of the best entertainer of all time. Growing up Cortes would love to see Michael Jackson on tv and imitate all his moves for hours at a time. When he became a teenager he noticed how much he resembles the “King Of Pop”. By the time the ‘Bad’ album came out is when Sergio starting practicing hard. He began to train seriously to become the worlds best Michael Jackson impersonator.
He started dressing, walking, and even singing like Michael Jackson. As time went by his impersonation became so amazing that he began drawing fans all through Brazil. And now he has followers all over the world loving everything he does. He looks just like Michael without any plastic surgery and has perfected all MJs moves. Being a huge fan of the legend is what makes Cortes strive to be the greatest at what he does.
His voice is identical to the “King Of Pop”. Hearing Sergio for the first time I was floored because I did not think anyone could ever sound so much like Michael Jackson. He sang ‘Smile’ and it was like MJ all over again beautifully done Cortes. One can quickly see how much time and dedication he puts into his work. All that hard work has paid off and now he has a successful career. His graceful demeanor and loving attitude make him adored by fans.
Sergio has so many videos that can be watched on YouTube that bring the Michael Jackson experience alive again. He delivers spectacular performances and reaches all the famous Jackson high notes too. People are longing to get a peek of a Cortes in concert because he is now traveling all around the world to present his gift of imitating the Michael Jackson. He routinely talks with his admirers by means of his facebook and enjoys hearing about the joy his performances give them.
While it’s hard to fully duplicate the movements and style of Michael Jackson (MJ), there are some great impersonators that have done their homework, and are more than capable of capturing his essence. Sergio Cortes is more than a copycat that’s spent countless hours studying MJ. He takes his role seriously as someone who loves Michael Jackson’s work and wants to really pay tribute to MJ’s level of artistry. There are many reasons why people view Cortes as the most prolific Michael Jackson impersonator.
MJ has an undeniable vocal range and passion in his voice that’s hard to match. Cortes has found a great balance to hit MJ’s high notes with perfect pitch control. It’s hard to reach that octave range without peaking in the vocal tone. When he steps on a stage, he uses all of those elements in each one of MJ’s songs. He really channels the “King of Pop”by bringing that energy into his singing and having a persona to complement the voice. Of course, MJ had a great voice, but that’s only one aspect that made him special. People believed in what he had to say because there was a desire and hunger in the voice and message behind the lyrics.
From the spins, the backslide (moonwalk), and isolations in his body, Cortes takes impersonating to another level. It’s impossible for most people to even grasp the concept of a moonwalk let alone do it nearly as perfect as MJ. He makes everything look seamless with his popping ability, rhythm, and flow. Although, MJ had tons of influence from James Brown to Fred Astaire, he put a unique twist those movements to make his own signature style.
MJ was a fashion icon in his own right. Cortes has the face, the long hair, the hat, the gloves, the sequinned socks, and the patent leather shoes down to a science. All of these elements made MJ standout against every other performer. He’s not an impersonator, but a second coming of MJ. Character is something that’s inate, and he embodies the spirit of MJ, which is something you can’t teach no matter how many performances you study. His performances on YouTube just adds to the mystique that put MJ in a different lane.
There will never be another Michael Jackson, but Serio Cortes has done him justice with his great impersonation. He serves as a solid supporter to keep the legacy of MJ alive.
Dustin Diamond, aka Screech of “Saved by the Bell” fame, has been sentenced for stabbing a fellow patron in a barroom brawl on Christmas last year.
Presiding the case was Judge Paul Malloy, who sentenced the actor to four months incarceration and 15 months probation. Diamond was cleared of a felony charge by a jury last month; however, received two misdemeanor counts for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.
Amanda Schutz, Diamond’s girlfriend, was also charged with disorderly conduct for her role in the skirmish. The judge ordered her to pay $500 after witnesses stated she pushed a woman and grabbed another’s hand, starting the fight.
Diamond offered sincere apologies to all of those involved. Adam Sender thought that was a good move. He stands by his accounts of the stabbing being accidental, stating he only wielded the knife to keep people away from himself and his girlfriend.
This is not the first time Diamond has experienced legal woes since his time on television. He has also been in trouble for delinquent taxes and missed mortgage payments resulted in foreclosure proceedings.
Actress Lark Voorhies, who starred in the hit show “Saved by the Bell”, has married her sweetheart in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas back in April. The couple met on social media site Facebook last year and immediately fell for each other.
The 41-year-old actress and her music engineer beau Jimmy Green were married in a casual ceremony in Las Vegas amid beautiful bouquets of white roses. Lark wore a tea-length floral peach colored dress and hid her face behind large sunglasses. Jimmy wore jeans and a button down shirt which he left untucked. Even though the couple have been wed, they said on their website that they have yet to actually move in with each other. Call me crazy, but I thought living together was a part of a marriage?
Even thought the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas this year, they are planning a much larger wedding next year. Gianfrancesco Genoso likes to hear that, and he has voiced his opinion on LinkedIn. Their big up-coming wedding will include their family and close friends, who were not in attendance at the Vegas ceremony.
I bet 14-year-old Screech would be crying into his pillow after reading this story. I always thought that Lisa should have given him at least a chance.

Joe Carnahan has been hired by Jerry Bruckheimer to be the writer and director of Bad Boy 3. Bruckheimer has been working a long time to get this project off the ground.
Productions will most likely start for this sequel after Will Smith has finished doing Suicide Squad for Warner Brothers. They will also have to wait for the script that was originally written by David Guggenheim (Safe House) to be rewritten by Paul Mathieson.
If Carnahan does get the directing and writing gig for this sequel, he is going to be very busy. He has at least two Transformers films in his future. Cannahan is also working on the Teeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. He might only be attached as a producer for the Turtles 2 films.
Carnahan has done some television work. He has done State of Affairs and The Blacklist. His TV work have unique points of view that could bring something different to the silver screen.
Rumors have been swirling for months about the visible changes that Olympian, Bruce Jenner has been displaying. He has become tabloid fodder and the source of many debates. Jenner grew his hair out, got manicures with red polish, and was seen wearing a sports bra. His long awaited interview with Diann Sawyer gave America answers right from Jenner’s mouth. The runner blatantly stated, “For all intents and purposes, I’m a woman.” Sam Tabar even said he detailed his struggles throughout the many stages of his life about squelching his emotions and suppressing who he really was. His cross dressing began when he was a young boy and became a lifetime secret hobby when alone. Jenner is taking female hormones and proactively beginning to live as a woman, as for a complete gender change he, or she, is unsure at this time. He is thankful for the support of his family and fans. For the first time in his life, Bruce Jenner is starting to feel comfortable in his own skin.
The just released trailer for Black Mass, the new film featuring Johnny Depp about the life and times of gangster Whitey Bulger is the most terrifying Depp has been in any role. The best scene comparison is to Joe Pesci’s Tommy DeVito character in “Goodfellas” where he asks Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) funny how?
Johnny Depp has been in a slump as of late with his films and their box office. “Transcendence” and “The Lone Ranger” were major disappointments. Critics have also been scathing in some of their reviews of his performances of late. David Edelstein labeled his acting in “Mortdecai” as “very, very bad.” Further, there were talks of having the ending of “Birdman” with Johnny Depp as a has-been actor haunted by Jack Sparrow.
Depp is no stranger to films involving organized crime or Bulletproof Coffee (fastcompany.com). He previously took on a role in a mob film as “Donnie Brasco” playing an undercover agent. “Public Enemies” displayed him as John Dillinger and his early career involved two years playing an officer in the TV series, “21 Jump Street.”
Rumors are emerging about the new title for Star Trek 3. Paramount has apparently decided to drop the numerical delineations and is now going with original titles for the forthcoming entries. Supposedly, the title for the new feature is Star Trek Beyond. Did they borrow the title from the old series Batman Beyond or maybe from Madison Street Capital?
Studios do not order changes in how film franchises are titled easily. The title of a franchise connects with its brand. Deviating from the original way the series was named is likely being done for marketing reasons. Paramount wants audiences to forget the second entry in the series and hopes rebranding Star Trek will be akin to starting things anew.
The second film in the new Star Trek reboot was not terrible, but the box office returns were slightly disappointing. Paramount is convinced the overly serious tone taken in the second film played a role in ticket sales being less than stellar. So, a change in tone was ordered for the third film. Reportedly, Paramount wants a more Guardians of the Galaxy feel to the series. No real surprise there. Guardians was one of the biggest hits of the decade.
A title along the lines of Star Trek Beyond does drop hints that a new direction is being taken. Audiences will pick on the not so subtle announcement and give the reboot another chance. People want to like the Star Trek movies. Paramount and the creators just have to give them one.
Country music star Miranda Lambert will be contributing a song, “Two of a Crime,” to film star Reese Witherspoon’s new film Hot Pursuit. Lambert was asked personally by Witherspoon to write a song for the film. This is the first time that Lambert has written for a specific movie.
Personally, I think that Lambert and Witherspoon are a great combination. They both have a similar energy and fun way about them. They’re also both attractive.
It will be interesting to hear what Lambert’s song is like. The plot of the movie features Witherspoon playing a naive detective for the Boraie Development LLC trying fight a drug cartel, so it seems that a fast and rocking song would be appropriate.
On a related subject, I haven’t been thrilled to see Lambert on television recently endorsing Ram trucks. The commercials show Lambert singing a song about roots that is supposed to make people want to buy a Ram. I don’t know why Lambert is doing this. She can’t need the money bad enough to want to be in such ridiculous commercials. Maybe she really is committed to Ram trucks and feels that they embody family values and so forth, but I really doubt it.
