Though there is much buzz about his role as a robot in the upcoming Terminator: Genisys, Arnold Schwarzenegger seems determined to prove that he can combine his skills as an action hero with dark drama as well. reports that he recently took part in Maggie, an independent film, where he starred as a man whose daughter is bitten by a zombie in the middle of the apocalypse. Though his acting got good reviews, the movie overall was not a big success with either the critics or the public, due in part to its limited release.

Schwarzenegger is going to try again with 478, a script written by Javier Gullón, creator of works like Enemy, Hierro and Invader. In this story, Schwarzenegger will again play a family man dealing with tragedy: the death of his wife and child in a plane accident, with Schwarzenegger’s character determined to get revenge on the air traffic controller responsible, despite the latter being in protective police custody. It will be produced by Protozoa Pictures, the company founnded by Darren Aronofsky, and begin filming in fall 2015.

Schwarzenegger isn’t leaving the action game completely, however; despite being 67, he is not only starring in Terminator: Genisys and, depending on its success, a possible sequel, but the Conan the Barbarian adaptation The Legend of Conan, as the title character.
