The name of Cassio Audi stands out in the Brazilian Hall of Fame for his contributions to the county’s investment sector. However, as good as that can be, he seems to have a better side to celebrate, the musical one. More than three decades ago, Cassio made a permanent history in the country’s music industry.
A passion for Music
As a kid growing up in the city of Sao Paulo, Cassio Audi loved music and his skill always showed in the lyrics he wrote. When he reached his mid-teens, he joined other four boys to explore their passion and musical gifts. They created a rock band called the Vipers. Cassio wrote the group’s songs and also played the drums. Read more reviews at Applesauce Blog about Cassio Audi.
A British Influence
As with any band that is rich with young blood, there is always a desire to do something new or different. Fortunately, Heavy metal hit the waves taking the rock music world with a storm. The Vipers seized the opportunity to pioneer this trend in the country. Even though all the five were native Brazilian boys, the influence of the British genre made it impossible to detect their nativity from just from the voices. A rare talent
The Vipers had a skill which was rare in the music industry then and is nearly extinct now. Without any technological top-dressings, they could keep the crowds on the floor for hours. Their talent made them the band of the town. Within the first year, they had monopolized the city.
Cassio Audi and his friends enjoyed the thrill and the crowd. For a year or two, they had no plans to commercialize their talent. However, due to public demand, they launched their first album in 1987 which soon became a hit and remained on top of the charts until the mid-90s.
